Budget and Tender Section

One of the main responsibilities of the Administration, Budget and Tender section is to administer national budget matters. It is headed by the Director of Budget and consists of 42 staff members.

Mission And Functions

  • To ensure that all revenue collection and expenditure incurred are carried out in compliance with the Constitution and the Financial Regulation.

  • To assist in policy setting and planning of the National Budget matters.

  • Secretariat for the National Budget Committee.

  • To process various applications regarding estimates from Government Ministries and Departments and National Development projects for e.g. Supplementary Warrant, Supplementary Warrants through the Emergency Order (Supplementary Supply) ,Virement Warrant, Establishment Warrant. and Financial Requisition.
  • Internal Audit.
