Methods of Disposal of
Government Properties
- Auction or open tender by the relevant Ministry or Department.
- Dumping at the Government Scrapyard by seeking permission from the Director-General of
Public Works
- Burning, dismantling and destroying, dumping or burying, the dumping ground is at the
Government rubbish dump area in Sg. Akar or the dumping site in the relevant districts.
- Sea dumping by seeking approval from the Marine Department.
Notes :
The Verification Certificate of Disposal will be issued by the Standing Board of Survey
and should be completed by the relevant Ministry or Department and a copy fowarded to the
Ministry of Finance. For auctions carried out, receipts of auctions should be attached to
verify the auctions.
