Organisation Division
The Division is the Y2K focal point for all departments and divisions under the
Ministry of Finance. The Division inspects all computers and efforts undertaken to make
sure that all computers are Y2K compliant. The Division is directly responsible for all
the computers and computer systems used at the Ministry headquarters. The Division is also
responsible for the request of all budget relating to Y2K and has ensured that a budget of
more than $60 million be made available for the government agencies to upgrade their
computer systems. As the focal point, the division also reports to the Y2K Central Authority coordinated by the Information Technology State Stores Department and Telecommunications Department.
