The National Crest of Brunei Darussalam can be seen from either side
of the note, surrounded by a transparent window.
The denomination "$1" and the National Crest of Brunei
Darussalam can be seen when the note is viewed under UV lighting.
These numbers are printed both vertically and horizontally in fronts
in fonts of varying sizes.
When the note is held up to the light the initials "HB" of
His Majesty can be seen.
When the note is held up to the light, a flower is formed by
combining printing on both sides of the note.
